Our collective effort includes various organizations such as Just Say Something, NAMI Greenville SC, Mental Health America Greenville County, RIZE Prevention, Unity Health on Main, and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office. Together, we are committed to educating, raising awareness, and implementing prevention and intervention strategies related to opioid and other gateway drug use.

It is clear that our community is facing a significant challenge, and it's crucial that we prioritize prevention, education, and awareness. We firmly believe that prevention efforts can make a tremendous impact in stemming the opioid crisis. By promoting education and awareness, advocating for stricter guidelines, and addressing underlying factors such as mental health issues, we aim to prevent individuals from becoming addicted to opioids in the first place.

The opioid crisis has taken a toll on our community, leading to a rise in overdoses and tragic deaths. We understand the urgency and importance of this issue, which is why we are working tirelessly to prioritize prevention over treatment. Our collective efforts focus on educating people about the dangers of opioid misuse, advocating for stricter prescribing guidelines, and providing support for at-risk individuals to address the root causes of substance abuse.

We firmly believe that by prioritizing prevention over treatment, we can proactively reduce the number of individuals who become addicted to opioids. This approach not only mitigates the devastating impact of the crisis on public health and safety but also offers hope for individuals, families, and communities affected by opioid addiction.

The opioid crisis is a pressing and deeply concerning issue that demands our empathy, understanding, and proactive action. Through our collective efforts, we strive to make a positive difference and create a safer, healthier community for all.
